Community Information Directory Care Act 2014 GP Contract from April 2015 Oxford Clinical Commissioning Group (OCCG) Oxfordshire Clinical Commissioning Group buy health services on behalf of everyone living in Oxfordshire. To do this successfully we need to work with local people, Oxfordshire GPs, hospital clinicians and other partners (including local government and the voluntary sector). Current consultations Oxfordshire County Council Social Services Current consultations (including those for health and social care services) South West Oxfordshire Locality Group (SWOL) Find out about the aims of SWOL and the 14 practices in the group. The SWOL patient group meets 4 times each year. It is here that patients views are shared with SWOL leads and opinions on service changes are sought. Healthwatch England Healthwatch England is the independent consumer champion for health and social care in England. Working with a network of 152 local Healthwatch, we ensure that the voices of consumers and those who use services reach the ears of the decision makers. Healthwatch Oxfordshire Healthwatch Oxfordshire will be made up of individuals, community groups & local organisations who care about our health and social care services and work together to make improvements to them. One of the aims of Healthwatch Oxfordshire is to make sure your opinion is listened to about how local services are planned, developed and delivered. It is being set up to give communities a stronger voice in how their health and social care services are delivered. Healthwatch Oxfordshire is independent of the NHS and the Local Authority. You can register to receive and comment on issues raised by the group. |

We pass your stories to the right people to make a difference. Carers Oxfordshire Help for carers and details of the support groups in Faringdon South and Vale Carers provides advice, information and support to unpaid carers in South Oxfordshire and the Vale of White Horse. They offer free confidential advice by telephone, or by pre-arranged appointments with an outreach worker at your home or at the Didcot office. Services include expert help to claim disability and other benefits. |
